I reccently bought a new phone. The girl at Verizon kept trying to upgrade my text package becase in her mind the 250 text per month limit on my existing policy was simply un acceptable. When I told her that I doubt that I've sent or reccieved 250 text messages in my entire life she looked at me like I had 3 heads.

My daughter averages 10,000 a month. If she wasn't a straight A student she would get a text limit

Mine does have a text limit now. We found out she was texting during school hours too. Now the phone is locked out during school hours and only 200 texts a month. You would think we cut off her right leg when we took the phone away completely. I don't think that every kid over 9 needs a phone but I guess I am in the minority.
