Bacardi Silver Skater on The Today Show

So in this video they let Matt Lauer drive the bacardi silver 36 skater at 150mph. I know he has JT on the throttles, but isn't that still a bit dangerous? Maybe I am all wrong and Lauer has past experience doing this?

Going straight in a cat at high speed can be done by Chimpanzee even at 150 unless in rough water. I am sure he told him hold the wheel straight. In a cat a good driver learns to keep the skegs pointed straight ahead and do not turn the wheel at all for top speed. Let it drift. JT did a great interview and gave Matt a hugh thrill ride for sure.
