OK, I have a 10yr daughter that lives with her mother in Ohio.
I just moved out here to AZ. She's asking all kinds of questions about living out here. And, I have to admit it's different.
So anyway, she is now doing a report for school on the state of Arizona - cool that she wants to learn more about where I live.
So to help with her report, I spent last weekend gathering stuff.
A Cactus (*****ly little bastard - needed tweezers to pull the needles)
A scorpion (in a dome of resin)
And...
A State Flag.
I drove around for 4 hours on Sunday to find a State Flag for Arizona.
When I finally found one, it didn't matter the cost.
I found it funny to find this tag in the packaging.
Funny, but I'm really not laughing about it, or how hard it was to find a state flag.

Ohio? Arizona? You tell me.

My step-daughter is on a plane here as I type this. Tracking her flight, she just left Chicago and will be here by noon.
My daughter will be coming out soon.

it's Chinese..the star is supposed to be red..

Helping daughter with the report I learned that the star is copper colored to represent all the copper mines that were out here.
Huh, actual info in one of my threads.
Sorry.
I'll get back to nonsense.
Too early for beer.
