straight pipes, cummings and a jake break... i miss going on the cross bronx blasting the jake break in traffic..... i remeber when i was younger the big thrill was learning how to shift with the jake on.... the smple things in life,,,,:03::03:

feather the throttle when you slide that gear mister. My 600 Cat with straights would set off car alarms when accelerating...kind of cool, but I'm sure it pizzed off alot of people. :driving:
 
That must be Jimmy Seecord. I had Him check one out for me several years ago. Good guy. I believe that Magnum Mark uses Him as well.

The Mercruiser 540 "Bulldogs", with # 3's, were the standard Apache power packages. They were also the standard packages on the 39' Aronow cats & the larger Cigarettes, along with a few Government specific offshore boats. This handful of companies purchased 90% of MerCruisers Bulldog production. The balance going to repower purchases & "spares" use.

naver had any cats in the trucks till we got petes.. macks and autocars back in the day... petes were a little too nice to work in teh city with....
 
I will be leaving on Friday night, I will be at my house in Cape Coral, FL for 2 weeks, boatless!!!, if anything is going one please let me know, and everyone have a happy holiday!!!
