We have one with a 24 hp honda motor. Runs about 40 mph. Fun.

My buddy just built this crazy thing though. All chromed and anodized, indipendent front and back suspension, 24hp motor, carbon fiber dash and parts, etc. etc. Crazy!

cool ride, but would rather have a quad or mule or polaris.

my bro-in-law has one from here with extra batteries whisper quiet and all-wheel drive:

Yea, the rangers and polaris's are cool but they can't be street legal in California. There's a loop hole in the Ca. Vehicle code that lets people register and make golf carts street legal here so a lot of people have GC's instead of the polaris's. We run ours on the street all over the place around here.

That makes sense as I wouldn't want to run it in the mud with everything exposed. What is the top speed on that rig?

this past weekend we went to a buddies cottage in upstate ny. they had a polaris and it was the best night I have had in a long time. a handle of whiskey and midnight till 4am ripping through the woods was insane. till the battery died and we had to walk home 4 miles and get a truck to tow it back. I am now set on trying to find one for my cottage
