Another celebrity passes today

It made me sick listening to people harp about what an impact he had one their lives. You'd thought he invented penicillin or something. Does anyone here think the world be be worse off if Jackson had never been born? Fug that child molester. If you need sympathy for his soul, you'll find it in the dictionary right between sh!t, and syphillis.

I'm with Cuda. I hope that the weirdo rots in hell. :cuss::reddevil:

He forgot about Tiger Woods. :)

Post of the month!!! LMAO!

I'm sitting waatching the news at noon and they are praising this phucker like he is royalty or something. Not one word about him banging little boys and tehn paying off their parents. Phucking media makes me sick...:cuss::cuss::cuss:

I'm going to the bar and get some lunch!! :cheers2:

Good idea. I think I am going to do the same thing. Meet you there! :leaving:

A couple of thoughs, one I crack up everytime I picture Raticle rolling out of the cut in his Black Thunder blasting "Beat it" and "Billie Jean"...

Next, can someone quantify for me what, exactly Michael Jackson did for music that made him any more special than say the Backstreet Boys, NSync or Hanna Montana?

I mean serious, how 'bout ZZ Top v. Michael Jackson...

Lets see:

1) Both made their best sounding music early in their carreers when they were playing to an established format (Rockabilly v. Motown).
2) Both got weird as F*ck in the later years of their carreer (syncronized hand gesutres, disco-eque songs, spinning fuzzy guitars v. turning himself into a glow in the dark vampire bat)
3) Both found their greatest economic sucess once they became circus acts later in their carreers...

Third, and probably finally...

Jackson is the greatest musician of our generation!??!

I offer up, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, The Grateful Dead, Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, NWA, Public Enemy, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, any of the Hank Williams, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson, David Bowie, George Clinton and P-Funk...

OK, I just realized that I could type the names of like 2,000 musicians and bands that have done as much or more for music during the current generation.

About the only thing that Jackson was better at was getting 12 year old girls to make their dad's buy them "his" records...

The greatfull dead??? really??? what did one deadhead say to the other when the acid wore off???

Damn, this music sucks!!!!

Cracked me up that the Dead was the only one you didn't agree with as being more significant/better than Jackson. :reddevil:

IMHO I thought Farrah was a class act. I may be wrong, but I don't recall any vein attempts and surgeries to hang on to her youth. She accepted age gracefully and her illness with dignity. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she was thank full for her opportunities in life. We watched the special on TV about her battle with cancer. After watching my dad go through this ordeal and lose his battle, it hit home in a big way.
Jacko the Whacko....well.....oh never mind.
I was a little miffed last night while watching the news. 10 min on the whack job and a 20 sec blip on Farrah's passing....wtf

btw Craig...nice av. Think one of those are still packed away some place:D

She didn't have to try to hang on. She was hot but classy to the end, and the babyf*cker dying right at the same time and getting more publicity is nothing less than SICK! I have represented child molesters and won great victories for them because the cops or the prosecutor didn't do their job well, but that doesn't make me forget what they did!

Sure he could sing and dance, and I understand he was acquitted and was going on with his life (that hopefully no longer included babyf*cking), but am I going to mourn his death???? Hahahahahahahaha!!!!! Not!:willy_nilly:

I still think it's very sad about Michael and it makes me feel bad the way everyone is talking about him. He was certaily a weird bird in many ways.

I am probably going to hear it for this one but...I just wonder why he was never convicted. I know, everyones says the same thing...the answer is money. But Gotti, Capone, Michael Vic, etc all had money but that didn't keep them out of jail.

Could it have been just people looking for a big payday from these allegations? Didn't the one family say even after the kid reported it he still stayed at his house. Anyway, maybe I'm way off. I know he was a fricken Froot Loop BUT he did a do a lot for needy children. I do think it's very sad.

Go ahead... I'm ready!!:boxing_smiley::banghead:(shoot SOS doesn't have the couch to hide behind)!

I'm not condemning him Gino. Just thought it was odd how all the bad press about his weirdness in the past got him more press then Farrah. Just goes to show, good news doesn't sell.

btw...your safe. My aim sucks:D

I delted the thing about Jackson being an alleged mollester from my post above becuase it detracts from my real point... That I think his music was banal, unremarkable pop music and that the monkiers of Greatest Ever are beyond laughable...

Seriously, do any of you guys have a Michael Jackson CD that is ALWAYS in your car? (The JJ's and Chief are exempted because they're chicks and Jacko is at best chick music).

I have an Allman Bros. CD that's ALWAYS in my car. Can't live without it. I wouldn't call the Allmans the Greatest Ever, but they're sure as Shee-it a lot better than Jackson...

Oh and I'll also go on record here as saying "MJ" stands for Michael JORDAN... Not Michael Jackson. Hey wait! Is that where everyone's getting confused. Did everyone think Michael JORDAN died yesterday?! :sifone:
