Another Cat Killer?

I think that is Wiesman's boat. I see from his site, it is friend of his boat.

It was a 39 Extreme. After some major reconstructive surgery it is now AVR. We are on bottom change # 23 to improve the handling of the hull. We had assistance with the deck in 2004 with a fire that took out the cockpit so it ended up 4 seat open like you see it now and the bussle tail.

2 LS7 engines in line flywheel to flywheel (Weismann/AVR)
2 FNR offset boxes (Weismann)
2 6 speed semiautomatic transmissions (Weismann)
2 WSD (Weismann Surface Drives)
2 19x42 Throttle up 6 blade props...

As you can see not your normal set-up.

Great to see it stay with the cats with a V hull:eek:Love that shark look also!:cheers2:

VIDEO was cool as F
The V keeping up and running was cool, but...
a couple of times I had to wonder what those lead Cat drivers were thinking...?
The close up helo shots were it looks as though you couldn't fit a sheet of paper between their hull sides!!
Just seeing how close we can get to one another at TOP speed?
WOW!!!

If that is the original Extreme; That boat has been around the block a few times. Great to see it running so good now! We have never known Weismann to do anything normal, and we expect nothing less!

Mission Bay isn't the biggest area to race in.....

Beat them at Havasu too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyLJG80kSuY

It is not the original Extreme that is whos racing also a popra racer. This one was built after they rolled that one.

At Havasu this year she ran down and passed the Earthworks Fountain and was pulling away until the end of lap one and had a small technical problem.... Can't win them all but no boat is safe from the Shark. My brother did a great job on the shark design.
