America and Jerry Springer

Every once in a while, I come to the realization that the Jerry Springer show just might be a pretty accurate representation of what's going on in America.

A couple of days ago, I'm checking out of my hotel. I'm dead center in the rural mid-south. Sitting on the counter is a stack of flyers about a missing child. While the desk clerk is fumbling around, I pick one up and read it.

MISSING CHILD

14 year-old female
5' 2", 267 lbs.
Distinguishing features-
Pink Playboy Bunny tatoo on right shoulder
Pair of cherries on inside of left thigh
Barb wire & roses around right ankle
Pierced tongue

So I'm standing there and the tought crosses my mind- if I run across this girl today, would I actually help in getting her returned to the people who have been raising her?

Sad thing is my cousin was actually on the Morry Povich show many years ago accusing her husband of sleeping around :leaving::leaving:
 
I am not sure which one is worse. The tattoos or that they let a 14 y/o girl get to 267 pounds. Allowing a kid to get that overweight is pure child abuse.

That's messed up. Average Americana is a disturbing state of existance.

I was at Wal Mart this morning and there were a dozen of her.

Easter dress shopping, perhaps.
 
I hate emos, goths, and straight edges, dress like a normal ****in' person. Everytime I see them on the bus on the way to school I just want to tell them they are not an individual. Oh, ya, that X will look nice on your drinking hand!
