If he's not on the phone with the EU leaders and other contributors who are meeting tomorrow in London, he's not doing what he needs to do. I'd be offering them the trillion dollars of rare earth metals, plus oil and natural gas, to supply me with everything I need to end this crap from Russia. If the EU gets that assurance, they can afford to help them more than now, which in spite of what is said, the other countries combined have given more dollars than the US has.
That he is expected to agree to a deal that does not include defensive support guarantees would be just crazy stupid. Oh sure, I'll give you twice as much as you have given us, in exchange for guarantees, but no, we won't give you any guarantees, just give us your stuff.
Ukraine signed agreements with the US, started in negotiations by President Reagan, approved by our congress and signed by President Clinton, to support them against any Russian aggression. But, it had no guarantees other than support. When Russia attacked Crimea, Obama's excuse for not abiding by the Budepest guarantee was that there was not a defensive support guarantee, Biden used the same excuse as his idiotic reasoning, just a guarantee to help. Which both of them used the we are helping with money and arms, just not everything you need to maintain your country. That Trump is doing less than those two morons drives me nuts. Basically we are showing the World even more that our word means nothing. Obama did it in Ukraine, Biden did it in Afghanistan, and now Trump is threatening to do the same in Ukraine.
