Alez Vite

Does anyone know what they want for it? Its on the Apache website but there is no price.

Not a buyer just interested, I am an Apache groupie......

Pete have you ever had any second thoughts about selling the old girl ?:)

Sure! :)

Especially after the memories of our accident faded a bit. :(

Nykamp gave me a ride a couple of summers ago, and it was just like I remembered, with one major exception: if something broke, I wasn't going to have to pay for it!

Oh. And it was the first and only time I didn't throttle. That part, I din't care for! :leaving:

awesome video...even the cameraman seems surprised then ohhs when they hit that big wave after pass. great stuff!!!

We started a couple of minutes behind the fleet, because of mechanical problems, but got to the first mark in the lead. Never looked back, led all 155 miles in the Saturday Key West Worlds in 1990.

After the race, Chairman of the Board (Cougar cat with Lambos) tried to get us disqualified, because when the race started, we had to go the wrong way (against traffic) to get from the pits to the starting line. It was a bull-$hit protest (we hugged the sea wall, and were never close to the other boats), and it got tossed.

The engine hatch was flying around because we didn't have time to re-attach the ram after Bob Laytham solved our steering problem.

All 3 of us have pins and plates, and are mostly doing OK.

Are all starting to experience the arthritis that comes with damaged foot and ankle joints, but we can still get around.

Thanks for asking.
