Aircraft Crashes

Man, when you see that you realize how quick something can go wrong when you have tens of thousands of pounds of metal moving at several hundred miles per hour.

My recommendation to anyone who travels a lot. Do your best to avoid getting to know any aircraft mechanics... I knew a guy who worked for USAir in Pittsburgh and I wouldn't let him work on my lawn mower.

I interviewed a guy for a job once years ago who was a passenger on Northwest flight 1482 (the DC9 that was hit by a landing 727 after the pilots drove out onto an active runway during taxiing). He said that after that accident, he told me he realized he was wasting his life and decided to become a lawyer. Take all kinds I guess...
