In New York all that happened was they shut the city down for a couple hours..,.....

My buddy works on Wall Street and said it was absolute mayhem when it happened. People were running and screaming trying to get out. One lady who lost her husband in 9/11 was so terrified she could not stand after the adrenaline wore off. Really spooked a lot of people.

On another note, Boeing builds the fuselages for their narrow bodies (737/757) in Wichita, KS and then ships them via train to Seattle for final assembly. Not one of them arrives without bullet holes in them that have to be repaired. Apparently somewhere along their route through middle America, there are some hillbilly folk who have nothing better to occupy their time than to take target practice at trains.
