I'll try to be short. Past five or so years been into classic jets and v-drives. Kinda on budget with new business venture that got put on hold. These boats being in the Pacific Northwest, California is close enough to drive, etcetera. Well things like; eliminator, advantage, cole, sanger, hallet, commander, southwind, ultra, challenger, etcetera are in abundant supply. So its easy to find deals. So much that I've bought low and sold high on every single one. Get a low priced whatever, even wet sand, buff, redo seats, etcetera, even buy another with good interior, parts, but crap hull and toss them into your better boat.
Pretty much the same scenario has happened. Stop at gas station and guys come over to check out the ride. Same with launch ramp. They always wonder whats it worth. Give them a mid range estimate and next thing I know I'm boat less. So its obvious lots of people looking and wanting a boat, but they don't know or think its way above their budget to get one. The second group is people who have the bigger boat and for whatever reason decided to downsize. Myself, tired of being free board challenged and want more salt water fun, small cabin, cockpit room, etcetera. Also like older styles and like something that can pay pass on for reasonable money.
Thats kinda whats this thread is about. Getting people on the water for reasonable money. Example if jets still met my needs. This Bahner would be on my list:

Was looking a 1979 Cig 28SS that one of the sellers neighbors has been drolling over for a few years. They've also decided they want it. So my now alternate under offer is a 80's Scarab I. Nixed but almost went for an 1987 Sea Ray Pachanga 19' with the Mercruiser 4.3 for around $6K, but no cuddy.
Anyone else have good entry examples or whats your good priced entry level ride--just giving more affordable and even cool looking get on the water options! :cheers2:
