My father was in town this weekend and I took him for a quick blast yesterday. That was his first time in the Fountain and I sure hope it won't be his last.

I am the first in my family to be an avid boater. My kids have been raised in the water so maybe they will do the same for me someday.

I had my dad out on the boat all weekend. I don't know if he understands my passion for boating but he seemed to enjoy the view from our tie up. I hope he will come more often.

I too grew up boating with my parents on there cruiser. We boated every weekend in the rain or shine. My Dad did everthing he could to make boating enjoyable for my brother and I. He bought numerous water toys to keep us amused! I miss those times! I try to take my dad boating with me whenever possible and he enjoys driving a go fast boat and getting the attention that goes along with it. My son at 4 years loves boating, I can only hope that my son appreciates me getting him into to boating as much I appreciate my dad getting me into it!!!
