43 GT Build

I keep meaning to tell you, you need to design an additional bottle holder devixe to incorporate there because at 100+, in 4 to 5's, they will not stay where you place them without additional support......

I better go with plastic bottles then!!! Lol.

Velcro tie downs is what I'm thinking. Like a little bottle 5 point harness (with a quick release of course)........

Interior is coming along nicely. The head rest are not installed yet. We are going to embroider the BT logo in the back of them, I think. See how it looks and go from there. This is one of the reasons I like working with Justin at McLeod because if it don't look good it won't be done.

I had the engine compartment lengthend for the extra room for the staggered set up. I have made 90% of all the mountings and brackets for the build with the help of a few good friends.

How much was the engine compartment lenghtened? Was it done just to the rear/transom area? Are you still using the existing engine hatch or was that maodifies as well? The reason I ask is I would like to stagger and the back of the boat will need to be lengthed as well. As I stated earlier in this thread I acan get about about 76 inches. Which should be enough since I will be using a bravo style drive. Did you do the rigging yourself with help of friends? If I was to go this route I plan to do 90% of the work myself with the help of friends as well.

Thank you for the kind words. You guys help me stay motivated. Especially after the list of parts I just compiled.
