Actually, I recall Bill saying the boat was perfect when he sold it and how it was unfortunate that the gentleman that bought it from him really ran it into the ground quickly.

Bill never had a 31, he had 2-35's, 2-38's, 1-63 SeaRay, Now a 68 SeaRay.

Lethal Weapon & Jenny's Express

I had tons of seat time in Gary's Apache, and rode with Bill a lot in all his Cigarettes. Funny thing, two little kids used to ride up to Harbor Island to see us leave. Those two little kids are now big kids; Will Lynch - Lynch Mob 39 Cigarette, and Bill Purnell - Wanted 36 Cigarette raceboat. Two really good guys.

The final refit of Lethal Weapon was done by Ron Doller in 1995 or 96. It looked much different than your picture, although most of the pictures I have of it are in the original form like yours. I have some video of it on VHS as well. In that video is Gary's second 35 Cigarette, which was the first Jenny's Express. I was on Lethal Weapon the final time Bill drove it on a photo shoot South of Miami. One of those pictures is in Mindy Doller's hallway at Doller Offshore.
