36 v. 40

Other than the obvious lenght difference, and the 40 came first, what are the real differences in the two?

Skater's web site will give you all the specs. But I do know it depends what are you comparing: a classic 40 or a 40ss to either a 36 or a 368? Either way deadrise will be bigger on 40 including tunnel width and overal width, but not that much if you are compairing a classic 40 to a 368. 40 a better rough water boat and a 368 just a flat out faster boat. So how bout the best of both worlds a 388!?
