29 Outlaw with twin 454 MPI

I'm looking at a 2000 29 outlaw with twin 454 MPI's (not magnums).

What kind of top end speed can I expect?

My friends 302 Baja with twin 6,2 mpi ( 320 hp) runs 66 mph ,I would say about the same speed as the boat you are looking for .

I think that is very close. Maybe 64MPH with good props. A friend of mine had that setup, ran it for 2 years. Last year he droped in two 600HP engines, I think he runs about 80MPH now. I know another guy with twin 385Mags and it ran 69-70MPH.
