Bobcat may have to stop being a Cubs fan!!

A single billionaire provided the lion's share of the money to the main Republican super-PAC set up to destroy Donald Trump.

Marlene Ricketts, the matriarch of the Ricketts family that owns the Chicago Cubs baseball team, contributed $3 million to the anti-Trump super-PAC "Our Principles PAC," which is being run by former Mitt Romney adviser Katie Packer.

The super-PAC has spent more than $4 million running attack ads against the GOP front-runner in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. It is the only serious anti-Trump group to date, in a campaign cycle where Republicans have been reluctant to take on their front-runner.

Clinton versus Trump is going to be the nastiest general election in modern presidential history. Period. Trump has already proven -- over and over again -- that he is willing to get personal in his attacks against Republicans. Can you imagine him dialing it back against Clinton -- the Democrat that Republicans love most to hate? No chance.

Clinton, too, has shown not just a willingness to attack her opponent's vulnerabilities but a relishing of the back and forth. Trump is an opposition researcher's dream although it remains to be seen whether Clinton can land more punches on Trump than the 16 Republican candidates did.

Brace yourself: This is going to be an all-out brawl.

I guess I am going to have to support Trump.

Here are my reasons:
1) Everybody hates us anyway, maybe they should fear us
2) Hold off the "war on the old white guy" a little longer
3) He is dumb enough to sometimes tell the truth
4) It will really, really piss off weenies and moonbats
5) Because Romney isn't running
6) Because Hillary is
7) I speak only hyperbole, and he is the best candidate ever
8) He'll say anything, and that's exciting
9) There will be a loose cannon factor, like Reagan.
10) We are getting a rich liberal no matter who wins
