Hello everyone!!!...I'm so very "EXCITED" to announce the 2nd running of The OPA IPC UAW/FORD International (Mayor's Cup) Offshore Race, which will be held July 8-10, 2016 on the Detroit River...And it is sure to be as thrilling and exciting as the 2014 race...which, many local OSO members involved will attest...So, let's all show up and support our passion sport...Offshore Powerboating... Note: This is a big plus for the region...and besides...it's free!!!...

Dang, same weekend as Boyne Thunder. I was hoping it wouldn't be.

Yeah...seems that there is a boat race in Detroit (Unlimited Hydro or Offshore) on the same weekend as Boyne Thunder...But, I am a rescue diver for both...so, I must suffer the consequences and cry in my tears...as I watch the Boyne Thunder videos...

I know. I'm committed to Boyne. But the Gold Cup and Boyne was always a major issue of conflict. Now they've moved the Gold Cup, but there is an Offshore race on that weekend. :banghead:
