I'm waiting to see how far he leans. His radio address was interesting. I'm wondering if it's just talk though. I think he has zero control over congress and since the Dems took both houses, we've been porked till it hurts....
WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama said on Saturday he would soon announce the elimination of dozens of government programs as part of a broad effort to restore fiscal accountability to the federal budget.
Speaking in his weekly radio address, Obama said he would use his first full Cabinet meeting on Monday to ask department and agency heads for specific proposals for trimming their budgets.
"In the coming weeks, I will be announcing the elimination of dozens of government programs shown to be wasteful or ineffective," he said. "In this effort, there will be no sacred cows and no pet projects. All across America, families are making hard choices, and it's time their government did the same.
The United States posted a record $956.8 billion budget deficit for the first half of fiscal 2009, more than three times the shortfall of a year ago, the Treasury Department reported earlier this month.
We'll see what happens and what gets cut.

That handshake goes WAAAAY back. I used it when I was in the Army in the mid '60s to show solidarity with my black comrades-in-arms.You must be familiar with it.
As far as this shake goes...make of it what you will. For me it speaks volumes about future US/Venezuela relations. President Obama said he was going to mend fences all over the world and that includes our back yard. On the other hand I don't think he will give that handshake to Kim Jong Il.

Do you really believe the crap you post? First off, not to show a difference between black and white people you should treat them both EXACTLY the same. Any secret handshake to your bros in arms, should be like a slap in the face to them.
