The boat was setup from the factory (1997) with triple 250 EFI Merc and they jacked the motors way high and reported a top speed of 81. The last owner put the motors down so the boat got on plane quicker and said it ran 75. If these numbers are correct I'd like to run 83-85.

I wish mine looked like that- some times. Mods add to headaches- I like turning the key and going.

There aren't any mods for the XS's that I know of...

2 strokes love to breathe so thought adding more air flow may help but no go since it uses the Speed-Density Fuel Delivery Theory

Maybe one day a 400XS will come out!
