1996 Corsa Race Boat - Now a Pleasure!

1995 I think. She has been busted up a few other times too but whoever fixed her did a great job. If anyone has pics and vids please post!

Powerboat Magazine had a pic of the boat when it flipped. I think it was in the front of the magazine...maybe the "contents" page. Not sure what month that would be.

OK,

Now I got a question, how did a 1996 boat flip in 1995??

It was soooooo fast that when it raced on counter-clockwise courses it would evaporate time, thus resulting in having been raced before it was built, only problem was the prize money checks where no good for a year!

Exactly. last weekend I set the 1975 Production II kilo record...Ooops, sorry, that was my Dad in his twin engine Maltese Magnum, "Conspiracy".:sifone:

this was the plug for the newer mold

Cool. Corsas were awesome little race boats in their day, especially during the 90's as "A" class boats. As sit down pleasure boats these sit down ex-race boats are really fun and economical. Fast, great in the rough, very comfortable, easy to trailer. Every time I get ready to buy a twin I go for a ride and that takes care of that!

Yep....Some how the $600 - $1000 + a weekend for fuel doesn't do anything for me. Twice the fuel costs, twice the maintinence expense, twice the problems.....I can take the Extreme out and run with alot of the bigger twin engine boats with a stock 496HO and have the same fun. Dave

Just don't put too many hours on it! :driving:

Mike this is our actual 26 without the dash inserts. Easily converted to flat panel dash.
