I have a very nice freshwater 20 proline cc with 170hrs on the 150 merc.I would be interested in doing some trading. I almost bought this boat from the guy in atlanta that you got it from. Pm for email info and I'll shoot you some specs and pics......

I may be looking to downsize... Your boat would be ideal... Lemme see what I can do with my rig and I'll get in touch.

$13k!!! Holy crap. What's the world coming to... I looked at this boat 3 years ago, and it was $45k. I would have paid $25k for it no problem. I think it sold 1.5 years ago for $23k and I thought that was a sweet price. Good luck. Bummer you've got to take it in the pants like this LM!

No offense LM and trust me when I say I hope your life/work get better so you don't have to sell.

"Since I'm selling the boat so cheap, it will be an "As Is" sale. That means no surveys and no sea trial. I will start the engines in my drive way so that you see that they work."

I'd take that out. Red flag for any buyer I would think- if nothing is wrong with it then what's the big deal. I don't mean flogging it in 4 footers- just getting on plane for a few minutes with a "non-refundable if it don't break" cash deposit shouldn't be a big deal unless there was some thing wrong with it. I understand $13K is a bargain even if it didn't have power at all but that is not what you are selling..

Nope. It didn't sell.

Maryland Mark, I agree with you. I let my wife talk me into putting that comment in there. She was so ****ed that no one wanted to buy it for so cheap that why should we waste our time taking the boat out for sea trial. I knew it was a bad idea.

There's nothing wrong with the boat. If someone does want to sea trial it, then we will most likely have to haul it down to Sandy Pt Park and drop it in (40 min haul). Our local ramp is closed now.

By the way, the reserve price was $12K. The first buyer to bring that gets a great boat that is worth $20K.

I always liked the 28's and never knew they made a 24'. Seems to be a clean boat. The only thing is the age of the motors that would worry me. Sprint - my sister was laid off as well several months ago. She could not find a job in her line of work. She is working for a daycare now until things turn-a-round.

Without even looking too hard, Dougrussell.com has 200hp Merc powerheads for $3700. And one was replaced just a couple of years ago...

More recent pics of interior....
