1989 42ft Fountain

A huge red light goes up for me when someone who is selling something says: "broken u-joint on one side" or broken pushrod on one engine...etc.

There is a simple and inexpensive fix to that. Fix the MoFo and then put it up for sale!!!!!!! :dupe::sifone:

Exactly.
"It would run great, but missing 4 spark plugs."

Nothing wrong w/ a 3 drive.
Get fresh new pics of everything.
Fly cozzi in there.
Get a good mechanic to do a leak down and compression on it.
And work from there.

Business as usual.

I am always suspicious when people only include a few pictures and half of them are the same. If someone is selling something and it is a good price for it they usually advertize it with enough pictures to show the potential buyer what they are getting.

Just my .02....

Number 1 Fountain didn't build a 42 in 89 it was a 40 or 12 meter as he called them either Executioner or ICBM...Correct me if I am wrong but thats the way I remember them 42 came when he added the swimstep!!!!

...Started using the new tooling(with platform) in late '89, after the big fire @ factory. #3's are fine. Personally, I prefer the look of the flat-transom boats.

Looks like the big brother to my old 1990 29'......
