103 in an svl ?

George are you making the trip to KW this yr.

How many SVL Boats will be in Patchogue, NY and then the LOTO gig?

I heard the Typhoon and Fountain Team will be at the OPA event next weekend, this is a fun event ,,,,,, any others?

Are some of the SVL teams moving to P-4 in OPA/SBI because of regulations?

Got to get to work,,,and make some cash for KW, it gets so expensive

Dam, what about the Super V series,,, is that the same issue?
I was hopeing to see some of these fleets in NY this weekend,,,
May have to wait until Key West,,,Obama Economics is hitting all sports...

That is the goal. We are moving forward.

Ok, I don't want to sound like a dick, but how?

Wayne over at Sunsation would (and is) ready to build Gary and I a SVL hull (IMHO The best bang for the buck in racing) but why should we; or anyone for that matter invest in such a project after seeing what happened in the last few months.

No one said you should.

It's unfortunate that the class took a step or two backward. Several factors played a role.

Politics
Teams can't stick to the schedule we agreed on earlier in the year.
False promises
Broken rules and....
Poor Sportsmanship.

I think the old saying is "lead by example". Well, that surely went out the window.

It is my hope that we can re-group during the off season, and everyone plays by the same set of rules.

Time will tell.

Trying to promote a large boat count, and fair racing. What is wrong with that? As far as the class, we are in the process of correcting some schedule issues.

Can't disagree Bruce. We can learn from our mistakes.

We will overcome. Countless hours and days of effort have been invested in our class.

News for the remainder of this season and next will be shared when it is finalized.

Stay tuned and don't despair.

Sorry to hear this. Derek and I have discussed a new Fountain for the class if our SV sells. Personally, I think the best that can happen is if the class races under one Org with one set of rules and one set of tech inspectors.

That is the only way it will ever work .

Can you imajine a major team player ( of any sport other than ours )not showing up to a scheduled event because he doesnt like the venue or who owns that field , track etc .?
Seriously .

Thanks for the nod ,,guys ,,but this class will be stronger than ever soon !!! as for the future,,,, some are right ,, some were not their,,,and some have a strong opinion,,
I applaud the passion for the class, this year we are experiencing some new issues never before addressed,,we will make the appropriate adjustments and move on,,,
#1 we Don,t need a single org ,,,we need a single set of rules ,,,coming soon
#2 we will need to bring our own tech team ,,and EVERY boat in the series will GETTECH.
#3 we need a sound schedule,,it was not available this year !we did our best..
#4 we will have a class SPONSOR ( 2011 )
please dont loose faith the SVL guys and gals (old and new) will iron it out and then put on some of the best offshore racing to date,,
Please understand we don,t want to race with any ONE ORG ,,,that is the biggest issue right now ,,one org is predominate in the north east,,,,one is in the southeast and one is regrouping ,,,we as a class don,t necessarily want to run more than 5 or 6 races a year,,so the class votes on a schedule that is AFFORDABLE AND CONVENIENT to as many of the class as we can..it,s a very simple format for our class...we can,t be compared to the supercats ( we don,t have their money) we can,t be compared to P class ( because were speck ,,not gps a big difference) It,s a new concept and going to take a little time to except,,( some might not ) But in the end it will be good for all involved,,,Would you like to see 8 or 10 svl,s at a few races,,or 3 or 4 at all ?? Please give us some time ,,and constructive criticism and it will work,,

THANKS AGAIN , GEORGE JR . SVLOR ? COMING SOON !!

When you compare the online published rules ( V limited) of SBI, OSS and OPA they are almost the same. They appear to be basic for sealed motors, weight, and hull, all others go to a production series class. The activator boat competed in this clase last weekend in Indiana

There are a variety of new boats in varius phases of development and productions. This investment will continue to raise the bar of advanced marine technology

The summer is almost over in Colorado,, but we are not "suspending", or "adjusting" our team's racing schedule.

We are simply continuing with testing, and commitment to the race events.

I agree .....there a number of new boats on the horizon, that are being constructed to the specs of the sanctioning race organizations.
