I knew the original owner. The hours are correct (less than 100). He kept this boat in a barn in central FL 2+ hours from either ocean so needless to say it was a headache to go boating (hence the low hours).

Kevin was in the flooring business so with the down turn in construction the toys had to go. I had seen this boat on three poker runs when it was new but then the boat disappeared for a few years. I believe Hideaway sold it new.

Its always sad to see someone cut their toys loose due to the economy.

It can be a relief though also......I had a client "lose" a 45 Tiara to the repo guy. He actually was still washing the boat weekly waiting for the guy to come get it. He had all the paperwork, keys etc. ready to go and even helped the repo guy cast off. He told me that boat was a headache to look at every day since he didn't have the money to enjoy it anymore. Now everytime he looks out at the water he doesn't have the boat to be depressed about.

I never considered the "relief" concept until this guy relayed his view......

I remember that boat when it was new. It was docked at the Marriott with the rest of us before the KW Run a few years back. I remember being amazed at how many colors they were able to fit into the interior

The guy had a BUNCH of chicks, that were READY for that run

Well, it sucks to see people have to loose their toys, even if it is somewhat of a "relief". I'm sure the relief of running that f*cker on all the poker runs, looking back at some hottie flashing her tig ol bitties was much more of a relief...But I can appreciate the "optomistic" view point. :sifone:

I remember that boat from the Destin Poker run in 08. Thing was (is) sweet.

Just think, in 2-3 years you'll be hard pressed to find a 5-6 year old boat...there are plenty of 02's-07's but not so much after that and that's when the values of the used stuff will start going up again. The new ones won't cost less and they're already close to the 2011 model year builds now.

Very nice boat, hope it finds a good home. I hate hearing about people loosing there toys due to the economy! Man I miss the good ole days!!!!!!

Pier 57 has 2011 Cigarettes in inventory now (the 39-700 boat was at the Miami show).

You are 100% correct in your supply/demand theory but I wouldn't expect a 20% surge in pricing. Very low production numbers in 08-09-10 for most high line boats.
