I had to water the lawn yesterday. No joke. It was cloudy but just would not spit out any rain. Finally got a little overnight.

Rain here.
And MI City.
Races looked rough.
Hope nicer tomorrow.

Had a great time on the Lake with the neighbors new to him boat. Dan bought a restored 1978 Boston Whaler. We were watching the rain. But it moved to fast and we got soaked. I had the RIB cranked up.

:(
At least I didn't make it far from home when I found out races were cancelled.
VERY much appreciate being alerted before wasting a trip.
BIG THANKS ! ! ! !

Seeing a few beach cams and videos from there, looks like it would have been a REAL rough water race.

You knew before most of the racers.

It was a meeting with the City, rescue, Coast Guard, the County RWO, APBA, and UIM.

Too bad, but the wave conditions were bigger than at the end yesterday, and supposed to keep building all day.

MUCH appreciated !!
We had just left the house is all.
Headed out to breakfast rather than hours driving.
BIG THANKS !!
