White looks great, but make sure you clean or bead blast every weld and nook and cranny. Painted one of my old trailers white, but must have missed a weld or two in the prep. Had a couple rust spots come thru after a couple of years. Rust on white paint sure shows up. Pete
Have two sets (four risers). They are modified to a dry configuration. They have 3/8" tubes tig'd into the lower part of the water jacket for drains (can be trimed to fit what you have). Also have 3/4" bungs tig'd on, to exit the water over board. They worked great. They are in great shape...
How about venting some of the engine compartment heat to the helm station. Did that on a older boat I owned (twin setup) via a blower fan. It was not the hottest air but it took the chill away. Pete
