Cool thread. My first go-fast was a 24 python. I sold it to donman here on SOS. It was a great boat. Pretty sure the original 502 390hp still hasn't been touched.

+1 vote for carrera forum. There are many old racers still around. The 27 carrera's are coming back. Center consoles are "serious" offshore boats:willy_nilly: Some of the other boat forums aren't even in business or have produced far less than carrera.

I've heard TX will stamp one on when its titled. I've also heard that they weren't required to put HIN's on boats until 1972. I'm thinking this boat was made somewhere from 1964-1972.
