Had an old uphosterer guy tell me that any time I use anything that strips or dries out the fabric to clean it, simply spray it down good and wipe well (as into the fabric and stitching) with furniture polish such as Pledge. Makes sense since it restores some of the oils....
Comes in handy out on the sand dunes. I bought some paddle tires once that the rim was buckled form someone before me using a skosh too much... Look close at the back wheel on the buggy. Funny thing is it still held air fine but yes it can be dangerous!
The cool thing is they only made 9 of the 38's, and not very many of those were Black and a Black one was the Pace Boat the year it was new.... Here's a pic from the day...
Here's a pic of mine with arch and photoshopped out. I can't decide either. From some angles it looks better but from most angles I slightly prefer the arch.
