Here's the situation:

A prominent figurehead from the most prolific organization which represents the ideals and the will of a culture, religion and region of the world that is arguably the greatest known adversary to freedom, liberty, and prosperity orders a global unrest aimed to destroy the sole savior, liberator, and financier of the free world. Shortly thereafter, the same upstanding individual from the same fine organization continues to insult the leader of this said salving/liberating/financing nation by bemoaning him a "house negro."

Do you?:

(A) Strongly denounce these actions, notions and words and follow it with a vow to seek and destroy the enemies of freedom, and those who provide aid and comfort them.

(B) Grant your first interview to an arabic television station and appologize while asking if we can be friends again?

Duh! He's making a hell of a start, aint he? Next thing you know, he'll be smoking cigars with Chavez!

Why, I would decide to spend lots of needless money to stop a phenomenon that has never been proven and that actual readings are showing not to exist, especially because it is at the bottom of a poll of the electorate's concerns.

There is nothing worse than an extremist. Both the far right and the far left are wrong. You can criticize Obama's actions in his first 5 days in office, but give the guy a break. At least wait 100 days before you pass judgement.

I think that The Daily Show says it best...

Fox-News-Fear-Imbalance

I voted for McCain and I worry about Obama's plans for this country, but even I want him to succeed. For Rush and others to openly want him to fail is horrible.

Are we gonna have four (or eight) years of threads like this? :03:

Jon Stewart's pretty funny, granted, but seriously you don't start out by going out of your way to patronize these phuckers. It's a damn slap in the face, it's called a pussified America.

And let's hope for 4. :)

P.S.
A cigarette ride can be very harmonious. A pair of big blocks singing in unison is my idea of harmony. :)

Clay, please don't get caught up in the Dem/Media propaganda. Just because we criticize his moves and actions does not mean we want him to "fail". I personally want him to "succeed"- as long as succeeding means the economy turns around, our country is safe, and we maintain our individual rights and liberties. I do not want him to "succeed" if he intends to spend money on stupid or downright evil things, unneccessary things, pork, and handouts to groups like Planned Parenthood and ACORN which will do NOTHING to stimulate the economy. I also do not want him to "succeed" in socializing any more of this country or it's institutions like the banks and healthcare.

They are going to try and paint any question of their moves as unpatriotic, etc. When that is exactly what they did for the last 8 years. Bush had NO honeymoon whatsoever and they truly did wish for him to fail, for both political and revenge motivations (stole the 2000 election, blah, blah, blah).

In answer to your last question, if he continues to push an agenda that is far left and uncalled for, I suspect you will see threads like this for 4 years, and then he's out, quite possibly with all his pals in Congress too.

I vote for 2 months. I don't even want to count in years. Impeach the jerk in 3 months. There is nothing he or anyone else could do to turn the economy and the USA around. It's up to US.
Beter moral and family values, better education for our kids, leave the rest of the world alone and concentrate on USA to make it great again.
