Extreme Boats Magazine??

The latest word from EBM is that they are switching to a quarterly magazine. This is from the web site.

Attention Extreme Readers!!

I just wanted to give everyone an update on Extreme...
As everyone has noticed by now, it's tough going in the industry - and across the nation. We have been talking to our readers and advertisers to find a clear path thru these troubled times - a path that leads us to a brighter future!

With budgets tight everywhere, everyone is looking at cost-cutting measures. We are determined to maintain our quality leadership in the industry. The magazine will remain high-quality - with the best photography and articles - using the best paper and inks. But, in order to lighten the load on everyone, we are going to reduce the # of issues we produce thru the 2009 year. As things pick up after that, we will increase the number of issues per year. For 2009 we will produce the magazine quarterly, 4 times a year.


We will be updating the website with content and videos frequently - or you can add your own videos!!

Now, if you subscribed for 10 or 20 issues, you will receive that # of issues - but over a longer period of time.

When I see the mail-man deliver the new issue to my nieghbor (Mitcher"T") I steal it and read it then put it back. He never even knows it does not get there on time.

Anyone that made a donation towards the "Raffle Boat" http://sharkeyimages.zenfolio.com/p198578953 from AMF was supposed to get 1 year subscription. I have some of mine except the one I am looking for is Sept 2006 where my photos were published...

Still hoping to get a copy of that one ....

All I know is that it was the Sept 2006 Issue.

EBM does not put the Month and year on the mags so maybe Ron P can tell us what Volume and Issue it was ???

I went through all I had last night night and several issues are missing in between so I have no idea....

Left another message today. I never got the refund that they said was coming, I have never gotten a return call from the office....and I never got one issue of the magazine either!!

I'm not going to be at the show this year, but am going on the poker run the week after. If I'm not getting my $49 back and I'm not going to get the magazine, can you just make Casey buy you $49 worth of drinks??? Consider it my gift to you! :cheers2:
