New year, new forum, new handle

I've been trolling around here for a while now so figured a new thread might be the way to get by the spam bot. Formerly handfulZ28 on other forums I figured since i haven't raced or owned the Z for a few years I'd try a different handle. I sold the Formula too so I've got to come up with an avatar and everything.

Great site, thanks for the effort!

Michael

Welcome to the playground.....

I am sure you will find lots of worthwhile info on here.

Especially in the "Raise you post count" thread....

Thank you gentlemen! Glad I can finally raise a little ruckus around here.

Adam, I don't get over to BF anymore, what did you end up with for your 311? Any chance you need a cover for it? Check out my post in the OSO Formula section.

Michael, still have the nosecones on. Still running the 24 Bravo 1s. Just glad to not have had any engine issues last season. Hoping for another unbroken one this year too.

I do need a cover for it. What is that made from? Not waterproof, so no good during rain? I do keep it on a lift, but would use the full cover more than my cockpit cover.

Welcome Michael, nice to see you over here. Adam, I just got a real nice cover for mine from Iboats.com . I upgraded to the best fabric and the thing is thick and really nicely made. Only thing I have a gripe about is it doesn't cover the platform.

24 B1s? How's she run? I think the last time I posted you hadn't run the Bravos, just a Hydro cleaver? The material cover is a lightweight nylon I think? It's best over a sunbrella cockpit cover because it's light. Cockpit cover keeps that area clean and dry, my cover keeps sunlight, bird dookie, etc off the whole boat. Since it's light, it also makes a good "away from home" cover. Oof, the full cover that went with the boat weighed over 100lbs...PITA.

Did I mention it covers the whole length, including the ST platform? :03:

She runs faster with the Hydros, if upper 60s is faster, better with the bravos

Is that cover a Formula cover or something like Taylormade
