Forecast has changed again. Rain today now, tomorrow looks great.

We shall see. Hopefully it stays south today, it shows barely hitting Michigan City, the bulk of the rain south.

Fingers crossed.

Well, we got soaked. The rain did not stay south, and the races weren't done in time to beat the rain.

Oh well, at least we had the opportunity to see some good racing.

Not a good say for the Dirty Money race team. We will try to upload the video, but it was a trip and stuff that broke the boat.

Thankfully the cockpit did exactly what it was supposed to do, both Bill and Rusty were fine. Did not even get wet until they opened the escape hatch and got out.

The boat should be at Skater this week, maybe tomorrow.

The word from the recovery team is the water was a little less than 10' deep there, and with the waves on Sunday, and the troughs between the waves, it may have been as shallow as 6 or 7 feet.

Anyway, they said the boat did strike bottom when it stuffed. Watching the video, makes sense as to the abrupt stop that seemed really odd.

Thank God the boat safety cockpit was strong enough to where the occupants did not even get wet until they opened the bottom escape hatch.

They said when they did that, the water there was really cold!
