They need to fix their map on the site. The race is to the west of the river, not the east.

There was talk of moving that course before rwo deciced to just take what they couldn't build on their own.

It would have been a bit odd to have the same race course for two different race promoters.....

Just wait until N.B.R.G. takes the offshore world by storm. The N.B.R.G. will not only raise the bar all the other orgs have strived to reach, it reaches the bar leaving the empties in its wake.

After, what I consider getting screwed by SBI and the last great new racing org, I think Lucy has done an awesome job of not only keeping the race going but improving it. Especially when you consider the hand she was dealt.

THey went for the bigger better deal which turned put to be all smoke and mirrors

SBI demanded a three year commitment, Sarasota is backed by a public entity, Sarasota County and has annual budgets that have to be approved. So, SBI pulled the plug and Lucy got a commitment from the then "new" Offshore Powerboat Grand Prix (OPGP) with Steve Curtis and friends, but then that organization failed. Since she has run it completely independent and done a good job in my opinion.

THen SBI added a South florida race on the same weekend and then the fun really started.....
