Tuned up, washed, waxed, drives serviced, and ready to go in the water tomorrow AM to make the run and take some photos.....

Had a great time yesterday. it was amazing the difference in the water conditions on the trip back to GH verses the trip up to MKG.

We had a great time our selfs. Nice seeing and running with the crew again. Got to say the north run was just a blast. Big thanks to Chris and his crew for putting this on. Todd

The weather forecast was a bit iffy, so some boats who had registered did not make it. Boats started gathering in Grand Haven around 11:00, we got there from Muskegon around 11:30. We had a decent trip down, the lake was running 1 to 2's and nothing bad at all. Actually, we were worried there would not be enough waves to get any good photos.

Lined up waiting to start

Getting ready to leave the channel in front of Big Red, the lighthouse at Grand Haven, and head to Muskegon.

Then it was time to head north on the 12 mile run to the Muskegon pier-head.

Interestingly enough, the lake had kicked up a bit and was running some pretty good 2's to 3's. Not anything like the run down an hour earlier. Should make fro some good shots as long as I could keep the boats in the frame and not too blurry from camera motion. (After the run, when I checked the photos, I wished I had set the shutter speed a bit faster. A lot of blurry shots).
