Oh to be young and stupid again

Back in the day when I was still delivering NYC on Mondays, use to have this bad habit of hang'n at the Finn till Saturday midnight or later, head for home, load the boat, drop it at the shop and head down to get the truck, meet the boys in IN for 6:30 Sunday roll call at the first plaza on the pike and blast for the city...made for some really long Sundays.

Back in those days it was the Kieser crowd. Kawalicks, Sitzbergers, Hansens, Youngs. You probably know most of them. Over time they all went their seperate ways.

Would've been 90-98 or so. Had a Red, White and Black Villain until I bought the Scarab in 98. Not the best pic of the Villain...but all I have here. Tied up with Straunsee's paddle wheeler in Butte des Morts head'n for Omro

Well Good Morning .... I decided to walk to work today Walked most of it ... about 15 blocks when one of my girls past me and stopped and picked me up Smart girl :sifone: Only had about 4 blocks to go but Im still glad she stopped. My ears hurt. Wind is a bit nippy :ack2:

It was good until the boss was just in talking to me about possible lay offs or cutting hours ... none of us can make it on the money we make now ... gonna be interesting to see how we do it on less. Im pretty sure we will cut hours before we let anybody go

Im supposed to get my car tonight ... and Im not planning on working tomorrow .... but I do know some places we can go play in the snow in the 4x4 :biggrinjester: Ask Greg to call me when you get here and maybe I can come out and say hi to the Leonhardt's too ... or I can meet you guys at Connies place for a drink ... or 6 :sifone:

Will do but I can not trash the 4x4 as I am not bringing mine I will have a customers I just finished working on and this will be a good test drive. Dave is suppose to meet us at Greg's between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. That might be a bit early to start celebrating the new year but from what I hear they may already be primed by then.:sifone:
