36 Apache vs. 38 Nor-Tech.....

Ahhhhh, the "A" word......

Resale Value = Apache
Coolness = Apache
Wave-crusher = Apache
Speed per Horsepower = Nor-Tech

What else?

I think you gotta have a bald spot or a combover for a Nor-Tech....that assumption is my own.....from looking at countless photos over the years...:leaving:

Nor-Tech / no contest, the A would hold up better if they raced in hurricane's. JMO.

i still like Bobby S.

I, agree ..............considering .................. Nor -Tech is using todays technology , building a stronger , and lighter boat , that requires less HP to achieve the same speeds , and if you really want to get serious ..................................ask your self this question , old school or new school , when it comes to building a boat ?

I like the idea of one Bobby's newer boats - spirit, history and style of Apache but with some new tech integrated in.

A= ability to stuff in a.NY second, on a sheet of glass.

A= <> prototype for a submarine.

38 Nor-tech is a goofy boat. I crawled around a couple of them up at Pier 57 earlier this year...back seat is VERY shallow and VERY short...like I'm 5'7" and my legs were too long for the bench. Below deck, its super tall...lots of headroom...but narrow as hell. Again...very strange. Also, the dash is very tall...I had a hard time seeing over it...the ergonomics on the boat were...well...European?

I don't know that many people with Nor-techs, but the ONE guy I know pretty well is goofy...so maybe they go together? (see above poster)

I'm guessing that the 46 overcomes some of this strangeness. :D
