Merc 420 Cyclone engines

That would be fine, I can show the exhaust and the engines. One is a bare engine ready for the dyno, and one dressed with accessories.

moving and found some good ones of the boat.... more to come

I have to agree.

Are you finding more of the pics with your Dad to copy and save?????

Yes we have tons of pictures of him, they are great to look at. He really was as happy as he looks in every picture. Never a dull day.

Where was your dock at in SF Bay? Is that at your house? Looks sweet.....

Thats in Discovery Bay, a CA delta district that leads to the sacramento river which leads to SF bay. It is a very fun run out to the golden gate from here. An all day adventure... i couldnt imagine the fuel costs today to get out there and back. Even then it was expensive.

looks like up at your uncle's place, yes?

Yeah thats my uncle's old place at the delta, his new place is just around the corner from there.

It is a heck of a run, some of the guys there do it all the time. Beautiful ride, nice places to stop for fuel and food on the way, and then out to the ocean under the golden gate. Definately a bucket list type thing to do... I can't wait for the day.

If anyone wants to join be you're more than welcome!

$250 might get us to Benicia... thats funny you say that, my dad made the same mistake one time and we didnt get home until 5AM! we some how made it to a closed gas station that had one pump. My dad went up on shore and found that the people who owned it lived there and they turned the pump on for us. My dad didnt have cash on him so he gave him a hand shake and said he'd send him and check in the mail, you don't see that kind of stuff happen these days!

I've raced at Pittsburg and Benicia. Benicia was a pretty cool old town. We stayed in an old Whore house turned hotel / bar.

Speaking of gas docks. There used to be a place in Baltimore Harbor that would take any credit card. I once paid for fuel with a Sears card. Later I had a friend that managed a restaurant and would let my pump gas as long as they were open.. We stopped by many late nights for fuel..On the best days we would fill up 3 times. Having a boat load of friends made it easy. Oh the good times we had. I loved full moon boating in the Chesapeake Bay..
