I spent most of my life in NJ, and remember my first visit, as a little kid, to the
Barnegat lighthouse. I was just the coolest thing , to see, and climb up in.

Some neat shots.

Who, and why, is the guy in the water?

Pictures, did someone ask for pictures?

First the story:

Growing up in Point Pleasant, NJ, I remember when the first offshore race came
to our town in 1969. I lived close enough to the dry/wet pits to ride my bike,
and spend the entire week, in the pits dreaming about growing up and doing
offshore racing. In the late 80's I got my first boat, and it was not very long,
before I began to 'race'. Amateur stuff for a bit, and then gradually moving up.
One of my childhood dream was realized the first time I raced in the Point
Pleasant, offshore races. Another childhood dream was realized, when I won
my class and was the overall V-bottom winner, at the 30th Anniversary Point
Pleasant offshore races.

Since then I have moved to cats, and of course dreamed about the best of the
best. I have done a few Skaters, and here is my latest build.
