Snowmobiles

I love the new XP. Thinking about getting another one next year, but I also like the 800 Pro-R Rush. Decisions, decisions...

pretty sure I am going to sell my 2010 XP 800 that I bought for the wife. See didn't ride it much. I am thinking of snow checking a Doo 1200 X package, we see what new sleds come out. See haven't ruled out a new Apex with powersteering

I think I am going to get one more season out of my sled(s). I don't ride enough to really justify the cost of a new one, but I think itwo seasons from now I may have to get into something new just to stay current. Would first look at the Rush first then the Doo's.

Who woulda thunk I'd be studding a new sled this late in the season, but I just picked up a leftover 2010 Vector GT for my wife. She's currently on an 07 Vector ER, but has put 5500+ on it over the past three seasons, so I'm retiring it to "backup" status.

Andy...see if you can get March 7th off...looks like Todd and Amy and Michelle and I are heading up to Lake Gogebic for the season finale...

Look at the trail reports Gogebic is pretty thin after the warm up. I want to go somewhere for one more ride, but if the weather doesn't pan out Im ok with it.

RUSH!!! All day

I am going to really try to put something together for next year. Do you have one? What is the good/bad? The Doo's are expensive and I don't think I'll buy a first year Arctic Cat. Plus, from the spy photo I saw, they aren't all that attractive.

The wife and I got back from Cadillac a few hours ago. It was our first trail riding trip. After spending the entire weekend fuking around with an old problem plauged 6 mpg Cat, I'm shopping for something a lot newer for next year.

You lake luzurne boys Know I'm a Polaris dealer????? No more doo doo talk please.

I didn't know that Anthony. Not sure if I will do anything for next year, but I am still riding a 2005.... Want to check out the Rush chassis with a longer track (I think they have that coming out next year?)

Which dealership? I was at Sportline on Saturday and they had some good deals on the Rush. I sat on this '10 600 with ArcticFX wrap for $7,300.

How were the trails???

Deccent, they started getting a little bumpy by Saturday afternoon. The White Pine trail was practically bare, we made it halfway to Leroy and had to turn around. It started snowing late Saturday and I guess they got a few more inches since we left Sunday morning.

Thanks, would you go back this weekend???

I havent followed the weather reports to see if it warmed up after we left sunday morning. If it stayed below freezing this whole time then I'm sure its still fine, but again, I havent followed this weeks weather.

http://trails.msasnow.org/trail_conditions/traildetail.asp?Key=2422 This is the report we followed all last week and it was pretty much spot on when we got there on Thursday. It doesnt look like its been updated for a few days though.

Tony,

I am very familiar with the area been going up there for 18 years. I was asking if you'd go back this weekend as a way of probing for trail conditions. If you would go back they must be pretty good.:sifone:
