Official Black Thunder owner bashing thread

Hope to get this sheetrock finished up by sunday night. Have the first coat of mud on and sanded. Now for coats 2 and 3, then prime and paint!

Question for you all: Should we paint the engine lift or keep filling it up with motorsports decals?

Had to throw in a pic of the JD x729 as well......... And yes, that is our new custom headlight on the snow thrower which is really nice, because you can aim the light by the push/pull of a lever and not have to get out of your seat!:smash::sifone::rolleyes:

And since this is a boating forum, I figured I'd throw in some stuff about the boat as well. Got these in the mail today! roughly 1400cfm a piece. :driving::eek::sifone: The pull on these is so smooth. Bo Laws did a great job on the external linkage setup. If anyone needs carb parts, upgrades, or totally new carbs, I highly recommend them. www.blp.com

Earhart put a turbo on just about everything he owned......

We were trying to build one for a 23cc Zenoah in one of my RC boats.

4 wheel drive & 4 wheel steer, and now you say add a turbo? I'm game..... Will it void the warranty?:cheers2:

Jason, don't paint the lift, keep adding decals, they cost a lot of money. Looks good. Bob

Nice
Those float bowls look tiny in those pics:)
COOL

:sifone: They do!

The BLP billet metering blocks are 7/8" thick, whereas the stock holley is only 5/8" thick, so it makes the bowls look a little smaller. The main bodies and float bowls were originally holley parts that BLP modified.

BLP put different throttle blades and boosters in there as well. BLP also slightly changed the bore shape while keeping the 2.125" bore size. That all ended up to equal about 1400cfm. A stock holley 1250 with the 2.125" throttle bore usually flows in right around 1300cfm.

But it's not adding the output to the intake system......

I should throw a turbine impeller in there, change the PTO gearing, and route some dryer house to the motor! I need to go brush up on some red green episodes before I do that though........... :cheers2::rofl:

lol, please tell me which alternative universe you live in, thanks! Those train fumes getting to you? :leaving::rofl::seeya::cheers2:

No train fume issues, the thought of moving back to a yankee state from my home country is playing havoc on my mind. :biggrinjester: :sifone:
