I've been thinking about something

As many of you know, I'm out here in AZ, living ~50 miles from the border. I've been in full support of securing the border. I see every day the destruction that border crossers are causing.
I'm typically a very right leaning individual, but I don't necessarily agree 100% with anyone but my own self.
BUT, in the bigger scheme of things, why do I need papers, documentation, and a grope by someone to go anywhere in the world I please to go.
Think back to the days where Kings lived in Castle's, and you had to go through the Knights to enter the castle - and make sure you were worthy of entry.
BUT, you were pretty much free to roam the countryside and live your life as you choose.
Currently, the only difference I see, is that the Castle's have gotten larger, and they are now called nations, and there is no free countryside to live your life in.

I guess I'm just aspiring to be a hermit, I just don't know where I'm allowed to do that anymore.

because back then you took care of yourself, no-one was there to protect you if someone screwed with you. Then the country-side peasants decided to pay the Kings to protect them so they didn't have to do it themselves....now all the country-side peasant have come to expect every aspect of their lives be provided to them instead of being free to roam the "free country-side".

Arizona governor vs. Phoenix Suns owner



The owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, Robert Sarver, opposes AZ's

new immigration laws. Arizona 's Governor, Jan Brewer, released the following

statement in response to Sarver's criticism of the new law:

"What if the owners of the Suns discovered that hordes of people were

sneaking into games without paying? What if they had a good idea who the

gate-crashers are, but the ushers and security personnel were not allowed to

ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying attendees

couldn't be ejected. Furthermore, what if Suns' ownership was expected to

provide those who sneaked in with complimentary eats and drink? And what if,

on those days when a gate-crasher became ill or injured, the Suns had to

provide free medical care and shelter?"
