I remember that boat very well. He would always wheely it. If I recall correctly he flipped it a few time.
I grew up on the cut directly accross from the house on the hill with all the ski boats.
Well I've got the fever, only one cure. Figure I'll buy somrthing before it cools off. Prob not the right web site for this type boat but think a Formula Sun Sport looks like a partying machine while maintaining some respectability. Don't want to go too far over to the Sea Ray types, or am I already there and just don't know it? I don't want to be THAT guy. Comments appreciated, Brig.
I've had several Formula fastechs and they are great boats......and factory support is second to none! There is a guy on Speedwake that has a 2007 330 sunsport with 496's.....says it runs 60 (seems quite respectable to me!!)

Nothing wrong with that at all. You'll be the guy at all the raft-ups that everyone wants to tie off of - kind of the anchor/center of the party. If you want to go for a blast in a big hp offshore speed machine, you catch a ride with someone else, and when it breaks, it's not your problem (or repair bill) and you're still on the water in a fairly tame, reliable boat.
Probably the smartest move you could make.
