Well, made it. The entire Miss Geico group is here. Saw Marc in the lobby at the Concorde.

Not a lot of people in the pits, but several of the boats are waiting there.

Ran into Rob, Phragle, at Terry's Time. He was getting ready for tomorrow.

We'll see what happens tomorrow. The weather forecast is not the best.....

I hope others have the time to contribute to the coverage....

Nice Fountain in the pits.....

Time to get to the race. Will fill everyone in tonight. I think Rob may have a connection at his motorhome and be able to add from the pits.

Real nice Fountain in pits:iagree:Any results yet?

I'll get some pics up soon. Hopefully so will Tom. I'm not sure of the final results, there were some infractions waiting for rulings when we left to come home.

I think all boats in Class 6 broke out and Boomer ran over a buoy rope and cut the buoy free. Then some of the other boats took different routes around the buoy that was floating in the course in a different place than where it had been anchored. So, I can't wait to hear all the results myself when the guys who stayed for the awards get home.

In SV, Tyler spun out in Rated R and ripped the bottom half of one drive off. They were out looking for it when I left. Rick said the water was shallow there.

Louie and Smitty had a great race going on, Luie ran out of gas one lap short. They were side by side or Smitty barely in front up until that point. Dean finished second to Smitty. They barely got the boat running late at night, need to dial it in a little more before next week, but a good finish since the boat hadn't been in the water since last year for testing or practice......

I got to meet some people I only chat with on line, and see some I hadn't seen for awhile.

More to come.....:)

Some shots. The course was too far from shore in my opinion for good shots and good overall viewing.

Simmons and Chiro One ran a close race. Chiro One pulled it out. I got a chance to look at the boat up close and meet Dr Gary after the run. Needless to say, he was a happy boater.

He had a little trouble with one of the ropes on the flag boat after the race.
