n the middle of the Roostertail turn, the U-37 unhooked and shed the skidfin, sending J-Dub into the seawall,at 100+ mph. J-Dub climbed from the cockpit on his own power and is on the way to the hospital right now with injuries to his lower legs.

The boat is missing the left sponson, and is being towed back to the pits.

The trophy team Typhoon Won is a perpetual sportsman award that has a long history I know next to nothing about. Colby was telling me it was lost for many years. I think it has been around since 1937.. I hope he or someone can share the story with us.

Again:cheers2::cheers2::cheers2: for Team Typhoon. After a year of taking all the beat by a girl ribbing Randy and Colby showed them the way around the race course. Mark and Jenni had the speed at the end of the short straights but, Team Typhoon had them out of the tight turn and were able to control the inside line. Great racing..
