New Web Site for performance Alpha 1 out drives

Looks like a nice piece. Not sure how much stronger it really is but, with the improvements in speed and handling who cares.

Its Chine walking not chime. LOL

no, if its makes a pleasant bell-like tone while moving side to side, i'ts "chime walking":sifone:

Yes i have one on my boat.
This just might be a stupid question but ....................... how many others out there have purchased this set up and could you give names and numbers as far as asking people about creditabilty and talking about numbers just how many units have you sold 1, 2 , 3 , 4 , or............ and once again just asking questions .

Your not Rude and that's the reaction people have until they run one, once they do they don't want to go back to anything else. The only drive you mentioned that is rock solid is the TRS but that is aprox 150lbs more and is alot slower and takes aprox 25% more HP to turn and the hydra dynamics are terible.
TRS drive rock solid? Hardly. They had standard 1" propshafts with "zero" impact absorbsion when the propeller struck a submerged object. Partially because it required the use of solid hub propellers, partially because it was a clutchless non-shiftable drive...along with many other 60's design technologies. But you knew that. No comparison whatsoever to a little outboard motor based Alpha drive either.

The Kid has a nice piece.. Its obviously not for everyone but, for the people with light fast boats with Alpha drives this a good way to add performance without a complete transom redo.:cheers2:

I agree the easiest thing is to be a critic ,The real guy is the one who goes out and does something. Velocity stay on course.
