Tony's on the road in Georgia and his trailer lights stopped working. He needs to know what color the wire is for the parking lights.

Anybody?

Figure 6 Typical color codes and positions for a 7-wire connector.

1. Ground (white)
2. Electrical brakes (blue)
3. Tail, license and running lights (green)
4. Trailer battery (black) 5. Stop and LH turn (red)
6. Stop and RH turn (brown)
7. Auxiliary circuit (yellow

I don't think it's a 7 wire. I think it's 4. It's on the Whaler and not the Cig. It's a little Eagle trailer. I think it might be brown too.

but I guess that could depend on what style harness you have, everything that I have ever seen the tails have been brown. good luck :)

Brown. Green is right blinker and right brake light, yellow is left blinker and left brake light.Ground is thru trailer frame. That's for a flat 4 wire connector, the white wire can be ground, but is generally not used.

I guess we'll find out shortly if it's brown. He's pulling over soon and trying to fix the lights.

They worked this morning. I'm not sure what went wrong yet.

:drool5:brown!!!!!!!!!!! always running lights

fix it, then trade the dam thing in. who needs a whaler?:leaving:

It was the brown one.

We're using it in the Keys to dive and fish out of. Besides the engines are still out of the Cig

just abandon it and move to a newer trailer, until the neighbors get used to you pretend you are brother and sister, problem solved.:seeya:

I am still curious why Tony actually has possession of the trailer.... but we are in 20 degrees and snow guessing at the color. :D Next time tell him to get out and look. :D

Note to self: If electrical system is going up in flames, Fund is NOT the person to call..

Unless it's heavily insured :) :)

Hey DG, when r u coming down?

Hey DG, when r u coming down?

The funny thing is that I was a low voltage system designer for a while, ran commercial sound systems, tied directly into 240 (hot) all the time, built distros, was a lineman for the cable company and did underground and aerial line splicing. :D
But hey.... anything to make the phone not ring. ;)
