There have been some tense moments during today's health care summit at the Blair House, but not for Vice President Joe Biden, it seems.

Just moments before the afternoon session got underway, C-SPAN's cameras picked up audio of Biden chatting casually with participants.

"It's easy being vice president — you don't have to do anything."

Whomever Biden was chatting with said, "It's like being the grandpa and not the parent."

"Yeah, that's it!" replied Biden.

Ya, that didn't go over too well with me. I wonder how many of them have read it and truly understand its implications. Who writes that anyway? I can't imagine our senators and Prez had anything with actually writing it.

It's actually the lawyers and researchers that work for industry trade groups and PACS that submit the bulk of language for these things. Nobody in Congress has time to write this stuff unless it's a one pager like the "amendment" that we needed to wave off the EPA and their discharge water permit a couple years ago. And I think even that was handed to the sponsors by the Boat US PAC.

The healthcare industry wants this bill because they'll make more money...simple as that.

Pretty much sums it up; hypocritical bastards they are. What I truly can't belive is how stupid they think we are...but then again based on who got elected I guess they think they can keep fooling (lying) to people.
